Two different purchases
Nitro is a subscription on a Discord account. It adds profile perks and a larger upload limit for that person, and a full Nitro subscription includes boosts that account can place on a server of their choice.
A server-boost pack does the other job. It puts a set number of boosts on a server you choose. The server gets the level. Your own account does not become Nitro, and your profile does not pick up Nitro perks from the pack.

Which problem you are solving
Want a banner, a vanity URL, more emoji, or better voice for everyone in one server? That is a boost pack, plus a permanent invite to a server you are allowed to boost. An 8-boost pack clears Level 2. Packs of 14, 20, and 30 clear Level 3.
Want Nitro on an account? That is the Discord Nitro tab in the catalog, sold by length: 1 month, 3 months, or 1 year. If a length is marked Out of Stock, the other lengths are still listed. Those cards are not applied as a server level.

Tokens and accounts are a third thing
Nitro tokens and Discord accounts sit on their own catalog tabs. A token is a Nitro code for an account. An account pack is a Discord account, some of them already carrying Nitro, listed by the year the account was created.
None of those replace a server-boost order. If the goal is Level 2 or Level 3 on a server you already run, buy a boost pack and send the invite at checkout. If the goal is Nitro on a login, use the Nitro or token card that matches that goal.
A boost pack never asks you to hand over the server. Ownership stays where it is. The invite is only how the boosts join.

Questions
- Will a server boost pack give me Nitro?
- No. The pack adds Server Boosts to a server. Nitro perks on your own account are a separate purchase.
- Can I use Nitro I already have instead of a pack?
- A full Nitro subscription includes boosts that account can place. Reaching Level 2 or Level 3 still takes 7 or 14 active boosts, so one Nitro subscription is not a full level on its own.
- Where are Nitro tokens listed?
- On the Nitro Tokens tab in the catalog, separate from Server Boosts and from the Discord Nitro lengths.
